Hi again

In today’s lecture I was talking about Intellectual Property Law (IP-Law). As you understand it is a very complex area of the Law. In the course we will focus on Copyright Law in the narrow definition that you find in Article 2 in Berne Convention. Remember that copyright is only a part of IP-Law. I choose to focus on this part because it is important and you will probably run into the area on a daily basis. It will also be a good illustration of how multilateral conventions interact with national law. Now it is time for you to read chapter 4 and 5 in the book IT Law for IT Professionals and of course the Berne Convention.

I will give a Webinar on May 3, at 1 PM. In the Webinar you will learn how to find IP-Law texts on Internet. The information will help you in the work with the written seminar exam.
You will find a Link to the Webinar at the course homepage.
I will record the Webinar so if you can’t attend the Webinar you will be able to watch the movie at a later time.

Yu can now find the instructions for the Final Written Seminar (SEM1) on the homepage together with information regarding how I will grade the two exams.

Hope You enjoyed today’s lecture and that I will see you soon again 🙂
